Garden Party Spring 2022

It's here—Spring 2022! We chat to Head Designer Abby to celebrate the launch of our Garden Party Collection.

Garden Party is a collection of vintage-inspired dresses and separates that you can wear on those days when you start your day in the garden but end up dancing under the stars.

We asked all the hitting questions so you know exactly what to add to your cart this launch day! Who better to answer all your shopping questions than the person who designed it!?

Spring is finally here! We are so excited for this season, can you tell us a little bit about this collection and what does Garden Party mean to you?

Ahhh Garden Party has been my absolutely favourite collection to work on so far! We really have elevated spring with this floaty, whimsical range.

Tell us how you considered the seasons in your design for the Garden Party collection?

To me Spring is all about stepping out of the Winter cocoon, the flowers are blooming, sun in shining and energy is buzzing. I imagined pondering through my garden, hosting tea parties and sunset gins on the grass, the collecting basically designed itself from these visions.

Talk us through the process of discovery the new Bloom print for Spring 22 and how you decided on the other colour ways?

We really envisioned a large scale floral print for the range and we spent hours narrowing down the perfect design, the muted tones with a touch of paisley woven in slotted in perfectly with the colour ways that we had already had our eye on for the collection. It really all just seamlessly fell into place.

What was your favourite piece to design from this collection and what makes it special to you?

Ahhh there's soo much I love in this collection, but I would have to say the Violet Garden Midi in the Bloom print. It's so elegant yet can be styled down completely with a pair of our TLC denim. Made from the softest Lyocell blend it feels incredible on your skin, and the pleats at the waist along with the tie to sinch it in at the back gives such a flattering fit. I also love wearing this one buttoned but loose with the ties hanging by the sides.
