Jenna, thank you so much for being apart of the journal, we can’t wait to get to know you a little bit better! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself, your family and what you love?!
Thank you so much for having me! I’m 27 years old, I have an almost 2 year old girl and I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with a little boy. I’m originally from Adelaide, but we are currently travelling Aus and have been since the start of May. My partner and I are recently engaged and are hoping to get married early 2023, if restrictions allow. I love travel, fashion and we are huge footy fans!
We love seeing all your outfit pics on Instagram! As a mama travelling around with your fam, what influences your style the most?
Being on the road, I think comfort is the most important thing for me! I love summery, flowy/oversized things, and I always try to shop pieces I will get use out of throughout my whole pregnancy and postpartum journey. That’s why I love TLC pieces so much!!
Sitting in TLC HQ on a rainy day scrolling your insta I can’t help but envy all the amazing places you are visiting! When did your van life dream start and how did you make this a reality?
We were living in Melbourne at the time and, with covid and being in lockdown for the majority of 2020, I one day walked out to the living room and said to my partner “Let’s buy a van and go traveling next year”. Jake loves travelling and had done a lot of overseas travel so he was all for a trip around Australia. It was a very spontaneous decision! We pretty much starting looking at vans straight away and, within about two months, we found a Fiat Ducato which was the perfect size for our family. We purchased that in December, packed up our apartment in Melbourne, moved to Adelaide early Feb, where we stayed at my parents’ for a few months whilst Jake did the fit out of the van. It took him about 10 weeks, and that was him working on it full time. From there we set off and have been on the road since.
What would a typical day in the life of Jenna look like?
First thing to start my day is always a coffee in the morning. We then plan what we are going to do for the day, which may include a few hours of driving. As we have stuck along the coast all of our trip, we always try to sneak in a few hours at the beach everyday. I prep dinner in the afternoon, we eat at around 5.30pm, clean up, and are generally in bed by 7 with a movie on. We have a very relaxed lifestyle at the moment, but it won’t be like this for much longer, so definitely making the most of it now!
We love checking our @lullabyclub tagged photos and seeing you rock our pieces in your own way, what is your fave TLC peice for you and little Harper?
My all time favourite TLC piece is my Lounge Set. It was my first ever purchase from TLC and it’s probably my most worn thing in my wardrobe. My favourite piece for Harper is the Mini Avalon Dress. It’s the sweetest little dress and she always gets compliments on her outfit when she wears it.
